Man Dies in Crash in Jackson County, W.Va.

JACKSON COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- The Jackson County Sheriff's Office has released the name of the young man who died in a crash early Wednesday morning.

The crash happened about 7 a.m. on Route 33 in Jackson County, West Virginia.

Deputies say Skyler Haines, 20, of Spencer, was heading west on Route 33, when he crossed the center line and hit a truck head-on.

He died at the scene.

The driver of the truck was not hurt.

Deputies are still trying to determine what caused the crash.

JACKSON COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A man is dead after a crash in Jackson County, West Virginia.

The crash happened about 7 a.m. Wednesday on Route 33 in Leroy.

Jackson County Sheriff's Deputies say a man was heading west when he crossed the center line and hit a truck head-on.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released, but deputies say he was 21 years old and from Roane County.

The driver of the truck was not hurt.
