MEIGS COUNTY, Ohio (WSAZ) -- A man is facing two counts of attempted murder after a shooting in Meigs County.
It happened early Thursday morning.
The Meigs County Sheriff's Office says Neal D. Bonecutter, 41, got into a fight at his home on State Route 142 in Pomeroy.
Deputies say Bonecutter shot Allen Brickles in the lower leg.
Bonecutter is also accused of shooting at his own girlfriend, Melissa Dickens, as she ran from the home.
No word on a motive at this time.
Brickles was taken to Holzer Medical Center, then transferred to Cabell Huntington Hospital.
Drugs and a large amount of cash were found in the home where Bonecutter and Dickens live. Deputies say more charges are pending.
