Man Pleads Not Guilty in Murder Case after Admitting Crime to Investigators

KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A man has pleaded not guilty in connection with a murder case in Kanawha County.

Steven Randolph is charged with killing David Lemons at a home in Elkview in May.

Investigators say Randolph beat Lemons to death.

They say Randolph admitted to the crime. He told them he killed Lemons when he caught him with his wife and the men got into a fight.

He is scheduled to go to trial in March.
