Man Sent to Hospital after Crash in Alum Creek

ALUM CREEK, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A man had to be sent to the hospital after an accident on Little Coal River Road.

First responders tell they had to tear off the door to get him out of the truck.

It's unclear exactly how the crash happened.

The injured man's name and condition aren't being released.

Emergency crews do say he was conscious, but had injuries to his ribs.

The road was closed for some time as the crash was cleared, but has since reopened.
