Severe Storm Potential for Wednesday

From the First Warning Weather Center: Thunderstorms will be arriving Wednesday afternoon and evening. Strong to severe storms are possible, with the main threat being gusty winds embedded within the stronger storms. Plan accordingly when heading outdoors later today.

Man Stabbed, Assaulted and Left in a Ditch

ROCK CREEK, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Sheriff deputies in Raleigh County are searching for a suspect they say stabbed a man and left him for dead in a ditch.

Dispatchers say it happened on Upper Rock Creek Road about 2:15 a.m. Sunday.

Deputies say they found the man in a ditch with several cuts across his body.

The suspects name and description has not been released.

No word on the man's condition.
