HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A man was stabbed early Sunday morning, just outside a sandwich shop in the 1400 block of 4th Avenue.

Workers at Jimmy John's said early Sunday morning, a woman came in the restaurant saying a man had been stabbed just outside.

WSAZ.com obtained surveillance video from the business. It shows what happened about 3 a.m. Sunday.

A Jimmy John's employee told WSAZ.com that 911 was called and a man was sent to the hospital.

He didn't want to be identified, but he said the fact that this happened was no surprise.

"I was working and this girl runs in screaming, we need napkins, towels and stuff and that some guy had been stabbed outside," that employee said. "We walked outside and there was people standing here and the guy was bleeding. It's crazy down here at night time. It's not safe."

No arrests have been made.
