Man Wanted on Criminal Charges in Ohio Arrested in Fayette County

POWELLTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A man wanted on multiple criminal charges in Ohio is awaiting extradition after being arrested by Fayette County Sheriff's deputies.

The arrest happened Monday in Powellton. According to the sheriff's department, a K-9 unit made contact with 24-year-old Travis L. Duncan of Cleveland, Ohio on Monday. Dispatchers told the deputy that Duncan was wanted in Cuyahoga County, Ohio on charges that include kidnapping and robbery.

Duncan was taken into custody and is currently being held in the Southern Regional Jail as he awaits extradition proceedings.
