PRICHARD, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- The Wayne County Sheriff has released the name of the couple arrested following meth lab bust near Prichard Wednesday morning.
Deputies arrested Charles Finley, 45, and his wife Terri Finley, 50, following the bust at the S-M Apartments about 5 a.m.
According to the Sheriff's Department, a traffic stop on the Tolsia Highway led to the recovery of suspected meth at the apartment.
A meth lab, assorted meth materials, chemicals, weapons and ammunition were found inside the residence.
Charles Finley is charged with operating a clandestine laboratory, felony conspiracy, possession of pseudoephederine in altered state, felon in possession of a firearm and possession of controlled substance with intent to deliver.
Terri Finley is charged charged with operating a clandestine laboratory, two counts of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, possession of pseudoephederine in altered state and felony conspiracy.
A neighbor told WSAZ.com she had been noticed suspicious activity at the apartment for the past couple of months.
The West Virginia State Police and WV Department of Environmental Protection helped with the investigation.
The bust happened at the S-M Apartments about 5 a.m. Wednesday, according to the Wayne County Sheriff.
No names or charges have been released at this time.
A neighbor tells WSAZ.com they have been noticing something suspicious from the apartment where the lab was found for the past couple of months.
The Sheriff’s Office is now waiting for a clean-up crew from Charleston to arrive on the scene.
