HUNTINGTON, W.Va.(WSAZ) -- A man from Michigan has been sentenced to prison for operating a trafficking enterprise in and around Huntington, W. Va. and South Point, OH.
Ronie Wayne Tucker, also known as “Johnny Flagg,” 41, of Flint, Michigan, was sentenced to 46 months in prison for conspiracy to distribute oxycodone, during a hearing in U.S. District Court in Huntington.
Tucker pleaded guilty to the charge in October.
Federal prosecutors say Tucker admitted that the oxycodone that was distributed by him and co-conspirators was typically obtained from Detroit.
They said on May 11, 2011, following a telephone conversation between Tucker’s associate and a confidential informant working for the Huntington Violent Crimes and Drug Task Force the defendant met the informant at a mutual location in South Point where he subsequently distributed 55 30-milligram oxycodone tablets.
