UPDATE: Man Arrested in Theft of Money Bag from Charleston Subway Restaurant

UPDATE 8/11/14 @ 11:10 p.m.
CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A man was arrested Monday night in connection with a theft of a cash bag from a restaurant earlier in the day, Charleston Police say.

Zayn McCorkle, 31, is charged with petit larceny. He was taken to the South Central Regional Jail; his bond was set at $562.

McCorkle is accused of stealing a bag filled with cash from the Subway along Washington Street East. The incident happened about 9 a.m. Monday.

Police say a man grabbed a bank deposit bag that was next to the cash register and took off.

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Charleston Police are looking for a man who walked into a fast food restaurant and walked out with cash.

The incident happened about 9 a.m. Monday at Subway on Washington Street east.

Police say the man grabbed a bank deposit bag lying next to the cash register and took off.

No arrests have been made, but officers say they are following up on leads.
