JACKSON COUNTY, Ohio (WSAZ) -- Power has been restored in Jackson County, Ohio.
Jackson County 911 says a main transmission line was repaired by AEP that had caused outages to more than 3,000 customers in the area.
Power was restored at 2:45 Tuesday morning.
Jackson County 911 tells WSAZ.com the source of the outage is currently unclear, and that AEP has been contacted about the situation.
According to the AEP Web site, more than 25% of its customers in Jackson County are without power.
According to the Buckeye Rural Electric Power Web site, there are 776 B.R.E. customers in Jackson County without power. An additional 74 B.R.E. customers in Gallia County are also without power.
