GALLIA COUNTY, Ohio (WSAZ) -- A motorcycle rider was killed and his passenger hurt in a crash with a car in Gallia County, Ohio, late Saturday night.
The Ohio Highway Patrol says the accident happened on State Route 233 near the 1 mile marker just before 11 p.m.
Troopers say David McCain, 44, of Oak Hill, Ohio, crossed the center line and hit an on-coming car. McCain was ejected from his motorcycle and killed.
His passenger, Wayland MCain, 20, of Oak Hil, Ohio, was also ejected in the crash. He was airlifted to a Huntington hospital. No word on his condition.
The 16-year-older driver of the car was also hurt and taken to a hospital in Gallipolis. Troopers say her car overturned after hitting the motorcycle.
