MASON COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Traffic is slowed on a portion of Route 2 in Mason County after a three-vehicle crash Wednesday morning.
The crash happened just before 8 a.m. on Route 2 just north of Ashton.
A tractor trailer, a truck with a flat bed and a van were involved in the crash.
The driver of the flatbed tells WSAZ.com that the driver of the semi was passing the flatbed, when the driver of the van pulled out from Mercers Bottom.
The driver of the flatbed says the tractor trailer hit the van, head on, sending it into a power pole. The flatbed was also hit and flipped into a field.
The driver of the van was taken to the hospital. No word on his condition.
The other two drivers were not hurt.
Crews are still on the scene cleaning up the roadway.
