HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) – At this time, no charges are expected to be filed in a stabbing early Thursday morning in Huntington.
It happened at a residence in the 800 block of West 9th Street about 3 a.m.
Lt. John Williams says the victim, Cameron Blake, 28, has a small puncture to his chest. He is expected to make a full recovery.
Lt. Williams say the stabbing happened after Blake became involved in a dispute with a family member he was staying with.
Williams says Blake became physical and ended up being stabbed. He says all parties had been drinking.
The suspect was located at scene.
Williams says all the parties involved in the incident, including Blake, do not want to pursue charges. The case is still being investigated and will be forwarded to the Prosecutors Office for review.
It happened in Huntington at 3 a.m.at 822 West 9th Street.
Police aren't releasing many details but say the stabbing took place at the suspect's home.
No word on the victim's condition.
