Police Investigating Possible Human Remains Found in Clay County

CLAY COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- West Virginia State Police are investigating after what is believed to be the remains of a human skull were found in the widen area of Clay County.

State Police tell WSAZ.com a timbering company made the discovery Monday night and then called police.

Troopers were back at the scene on Tuesday looking to see if they could find anything else.

Right now, no other details are being released.
