CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A drug deal was foiled and Charleston Police uncovered more than three ounces of crack cocaine.
Officers with the Special Enforcement Unity followed a man they say is a known drug runner, Clyde Anderson, Jr. It happened about 10:40 Friday night along Central Avenue on the West Side.
Police say Anderson got out of a car with two women inside -- Jeren Canterburry and Bobbie Johns. When officers moved in, they smelled marijuana, according to the criminal complaint.
K-9 Units were called and bags of cocaine were found in the truck along with scales and a large amount of case. Cocaine was also found on the suspects, according to the complaint.
