PUTNAM COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- The search for two men caught on camera stealing an assault rifle now stretches across two counties.
Police say they are looking for Jesse and David Burgess.
They are persons of interest in the theft of an assault rifle from Dunlap's Gun & Pawn in Hurricane, W.Va., on Sept. 21.
Police say Jesse and David Burgess are from Charleston.
If you have any information, you are asked to call either Hurricane Police or Charleston Police.
Police say the two suspects walked into Dunlaps gun store on Rt. 19, pick up an AR-15 assault rifle and then ran from the store without paying.
It all happened about 4:30 p.m. Friday.
Officers say witnesses believe they saw the men drive away in a grey Dodge sedan
