FAYETTE COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Sheriff's deputies are searching for two armed robbery suspects accused of robbing a gas station early Saturday morning.

It happened just after 1:00 a.m. at the Sunoco in the Mahan area.

The clerk told police that a white woman with short blonde hair and multiple tatoos on her arms -- walked around in the store for a few minutes.

As she left, Sheriff Steve Kessler says a black man wearing a hooded sweat shirt and with what appeared to be a large growth on the side of his neck -- came in.

Deputies say the man had a handgun and demanded all the cash in the register -- threatening to kill the clerk.

After receiving all of the money, both the man and the woman fled the scene in a mid-sized vehicle; possibly a Ford Taurus.

Police say they were heading towards the Turnpike.
