MARMET, W.Va. (WSAZ) --Police in Marmet say they're investigating after a crime spree hit the town this week.

They say several break-ins, thefts, and a suspicious fire happened all in succession within a few blocks from each other.

A vehicle was set on fire Monday night outside the Johnson Apartments, according to officers.

Crews were able to get it under control before the flames spread or hurt anyone.

That same night, police say a truck was stolen on the 8000 block of Maryland Avenue. WSAZ.com obtained a copy of surveillance video showing the thieves in action.

The vehicle was later recovered, but police say they want help identifying the suspects shown in the video.

Also that night, police say the concession stand at Ben Morris Baseball Field was burglarized and robbed, along with the Dinner Table - a recently-closed restaurant on MacCorkle Avenue.

Officers say the cash register and several boxes of snack cakes were stolen from the restaurant.

Police say they're looking into whether all of these crimes were connected.

They say they have identified a person of interest but are not releasing their name at this time.

If you have any information on these crimes, you're asked to call Marmet Police.
