UPDATE: Armed Robber Still on the Loose

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Police are still looking for a armed robber who walked into a pizza shop and demanded cash.

Charleston Police say a man forced his way into the Papa Johns at 200 Patrick Street in North Charleston.

It happened around 10:45 p.m. Thursday night.

Police say the man pushed his way in when a delivery driver returned to the store.

The man had a black gun and held up the store before fleeing on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Police describe the robber as a white male, 6' tall, medium build wearing a red hooded sweatshirt or jacket with blue jeans and tennis shoes.

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Police are searching for an armed man who robbed a business in North Charleston.

911 dispatchers say a robbery happened at the Papa John's near the Patrick Street Plaza about 11:00 p.m. Thursday.

Dispatchers say it appeared that the man had a black handgun and demanded money from workers.

The man is described as being about 6'0 tall and was wearing a red hooded sweatshirt and jeans.

Dispatchers also say the man had some sort of black paint or polish on his face.
