One Lane of Route 62 in Mason County Re-open After Rockslide

UPDATE 2/1/12 @ 9:25 p.m.
MASON COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- The southbound lane of Route 62 in Mason County has since re-opened Wednesday night in the New Haven area, Mason County 911 dispatchers say.

A rock slide closed that side of the road earlier Wednesday.

West Virginia Department of Highways workers cleared the roadway.

MASON COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A rock slide has shut down one lane of Route 62 in Mason County.

911 dispatchers tell WSAZ.com the southbound lane is closed in the New Haven area.

The West Virginia Department of Highways has been called out to clear the road.

No word on how long the lane will be shut down.
