OAK HILL, Ohio (WSAZ) -- A dented, muddy school bus sits out of service in the parking lot adjacent to the Oak Hill Board of Education Office.
While the driver Larry Johnson is counting his blessings, he's also looking for new work.
Johnson resigned as an Oak Hill School bus driver -- after his second accident in less than a year.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating. According to the report, Johnson failed to maintain control of the bus as it ran off Antioch Road in Jackson County, landing on its roof.
Johnson had dropped off his last student about 2 miles earlier. The only other person on the bus was his daughter; both are OK.
In November 2010, Johnson was behind the wheel of another school bus that hit a pole. That accident sent eight children to the hospital with minor injuries.
