UPDATE: Nitro Roadway Reopen after Sinkhole Found

NITRO, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- W.Va. 25 (1st Avenue) has reopened Tuesday night after a massive sinkhole developed earlier in the day, Nitro Police say.
The hole was reported about 8 a.m. Tuesday at 100 1st Ave. -- one of the detours for the Nitro-St. Albans bridge closure.
All lanes were reopen Tuesday night.

NITRO, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A broken water line is to blame for a sinkhole in Nitro, according to Nitro Police.
The hole was reported about 8 a.m. Tuesday at 100 1st Avenue. This is one of the detours for the Nitro-St.Albans bridge closure.
According to Metro 911, the hole is four feet wide and about three feet deep.
Nitro Police are on the scene directing traffic, but so far everything is moving smoothly.
No word on when the road will be fixed.

The hole was reported about 8 a.m. Tuesday at 100 1st Avenue.
According to Metro 911, the hole is 4' wide and about 3' deep.
The hole has closed one eastbound lane. Nitro Police are on scene directing traffic in the area.
