Six Face Federal Heroin Charges

MASON COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) – Six people have been indicted on federal heroin charges that federal prosecutors say took place in Mason County, W.Va.

Bashiri Deon McDaniel, Eric Greer, Teresa Steele, Steven Libertore, Joshua Lee, and Ralph Shoemaker are each indicted on one count of distribution of heroin near Point Pleasant, Gallipolis Ferry, and Crab Creek between December 14, 2011 and March 29, 2013, according to the indictment.

According to the indictment, McDaniel, 36, also known as “Chevy” faces six additional heroin distribution counts.

Lee, 31, Libertore, 50, Shoemaker and Steele each face one additional heroin count in the June 10 indictment that was unsealed last week.

McDaniel, Libertore, and Lee were arrested last week.
