KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- School representatives from every county in West Virginia attended a special Kanawha County Board of Education meeting Wednesday evening to discuss ways to make the education process more efficient.

Participants discussed sharing services like transportation and technology and encouraged efficiency in central offices.

Board members hope the workshop will allow them to work together as a team.

"Traditionally we have talked about ways that we can share technology expertise," Kanawha School Board President Robin Rector said. "We've talked about ways that we can share nutritional services or managers of those types of programs -- just different ways that we might be able to share our resources."
