CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Taste of All Charleston will highlight an amateur cake contest and a Chef Off featuring some of the best culinary talent in the area.
Taste of All is set for Sunday, June 22 from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. at the Charleston Civic Center Grand Hall.
Organizers are accepting applications for restaurants to be part of the annual event.
“We want this year to top last year's excitement! To celebrate FestivALL's 10the anniversary, we'll be hosting an amateur cake contest and a Chef Off featuring some of the best culinary talent in the area,” said Emily Wall, Chairman of Taste of All Charleston.
Restaurants in the greater Charleston area that are in operation at the time of the event are eligible to apply. According to a news release, chain restaurant, restaurants outside the greater Charleston area, specialty shops and corporate interests need approval by the Taste of All Charleston committee.
“Each year participants in Taste reach 5,500 plus Charleston area residents,” said Wall. “It’s a simple way to reach thousands of new customers in just six hours.”
FestivALL is 10 days with 130 events and 360 performances.
