ST. ALBANS, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A teen was arrested Monday after showing a replica handgun that police believed to be real.

St. Albans Police say they received a call about 12:25 p.m. Monday from a driver, saying in the SUV in front of him, the passenger was holding a gun to the driver's head.

Police caught up with the SUV and say the passenger stuck the gun out the window and pointed it at a man riding a bicycle.

The officer pulled the SUV over and got everyone out at gunpoint.

As other officers got on scene, they say they found the gun was a replica, not a real gun. Police say the red safety indicator has been removed from the barrel. The item is even so realistic, it has the words "Sig Sauer" who is a manufacturer of real handguns on one side of the gun.

Jon A. Sirianni, 19, of Cross Lanes, was arrested and charged with Breach of Peace through St. Albans Municipal Court. The driver of the SUV paid his bond and Sirianni was released.

The other passenger and driver in the SUV were not charged, but police say they believe they were at least somewhat complicit in Sirianni's actions.
