GREENUP COUNTY, Ky. (WSAZ) -- Three men are behind bars after deputies say they busted an active meth lab.
Greenup County Sheriff Keith Cooper says deputies went to a home in the 2000-block of Argillite Road in Flatwoods, Ky. Thursday after receiving a tip that meth was being made there.
Deputies say they found Mark Porter, 46, and Adam Clifton, 25, both of Flatwoods involved in a fully active meth lab. The men were arrested and charged with manufacturing meth and other drug related charges.
Deputies say there was an apartment above the residence where the meth was being made and children were living there. For that, Porter was also charged with wanton endangerment.
While deputies were there, they say Christopher Jenkins, 23, of Greenup, showed up at the home to buy meth from Porter and Clifton. Jenkins was arrested and charged with conspiracy to trafficking in a controlled substance.
They are all being held in the Greenup County Detention Center.
