Tip Leads to Meth Bust; Woman Arrested

KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Thanks to a tip, W.Va, State Police say they made a major meth bust Thursday night.

The bust happened about 5 p.m. on Derricks Creek Road in Sissonville.

Troopers say they found meth and meth making materials inside Joy Damron's home.

During the search they uncovered, hydrogen peroxide, glassware, mason jars with an unknown clear liquid, a set of scales and a finished meth product.

Damron told Troopers everything belonged to her ex-boyfriend who recently moved out.

Troopers arrested Damron for attempting to operate a meth lab. She is now in the South Central Regional Jail.
