Tractor-Trailer Bursts into Flames on I-64

SOUTH CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- I-64 East is back open in South Charleston due to a tractor-trailer fire.

It broke out just before 2 p.m. Friday near the MacCorkle Avenue exit.

Dispatchers say the driver of the truck was able to get out safely.

The truck was carrying construction equipment.

We have a crew on the scene.
