UPDATE: W.Va. Turnpike at Standstill after Several Crashes

UPDATE 6/7/13 @ 11 a.m.
KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Several tractor trailer accidents have brought traffic to a standstill on the West Virginia Turnpike.

Dispatchers say a truck heading north crashed through a guardrail near the Paint Creek exit in Kanawha County and crashed over a hill.

It happened just before noon on Friday.

Crews are still working to clean up another accident that happened Friday morning near the Sharon exit.

A UPS truck was heading south when the truck tipped over.

Police say wet roads are to blame for that crash.

No one was hurt.

A third accident has also slowed traffic.

Police say the driver of a UHaul truck heading north was going down a hill near the Sharon exit when the driver lost control and slid into a concrete barrier.

No one was hurt in that crash.

KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Emergency crews are on the scene of a tractor trailer rollover on the West Virginia Turnpike.

The crash happened just before 10:30 a.m. Friday near the Sharon exit.

Dispatchers say the truck was carrying two trailers and one of them has turned over.

No injuries have been reported.

One southbound lane is closed in the area.

We have a crew headed to the scene.
