Severe Storm Potential for Wednesday

From the First Warning Weather Center: Thunderstorms will be arriving Wednesday afternoon and evening. Strong to severe storms are possible, with the main threat being gusty winds embedded within the stronger storms. Plan accordingly when heading outdoors later today.

Truck Crashes into Fayette County Bridge; Driver Killed

FAYETTE COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A man is dead after he crashed into a bridge in Fayette County.

It happened about 8 p.m. Sunday on Route 41 in Danese.

Deputies say the impact of the crash caused the cab to separate from the rest of the truck and land in a creek.

A large piece of concrete landed on the cab of the truck.

The driver, Franklin Terry, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Deputies still aren't sure what caused the crash.
