Two Men Arrested on Meth Charges in Meigs County, Ohio

MEIGS COUNTY, Ohio (WSAZ) -- Two men recently were arrested on drug charges after a meth lab was found along Township Road 1004 in Harrisonville, according to a news release from the Meigs County Sheriff's Office.

John A. Ward, 48, and Matthew T. Gilmore, 18, both of Pomeroy, Ohio, were charged with manufacturing of methamphetamine.

Two other men, Stacy J. Jacks, 35, of Pomeroy was arrested on an outstanding warrant from Gallia County, Ohio, and Matthew B. Haynes, 39, was arrested on an outstanding warrant from the Middleport (Ohio) Police Department.

Deputies said they found a meth lab at the scene.

Middleport Police, Meigs County Children's Services and the Rutland Fire Department assisted at the scene.
