KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Another attempted abduction has been reported -- this time involving two boys on Route 61 in Kanawha County, police tell WSAZ.com.

Phillip McBrayer said his 12-year-old son and 10-year-old nephew came home Tuesday night and said a man chased them on Route 61 in Handley. McBrayer called police, and the boys told investigators about a man wearing a dark hoodie, jeans and boots. They aren’t sure if he got into a vehicle or not.

"I am just scared this guy is going to get someone, and then here we are with a child hurt or worse,” McBrayer said. “I mean, there are just too many incidents with it.”

The FBI and West Virginia State Police are investigating the incident. Several attempted abductions have been reported in the area during the past month. The other cases involved girls.

Investigators aren't sure if this latest case has any connection to the others.
