CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Two football players at the University of Charleston have been arrested on drug charges.
According to the school's Sports Information Department, Shaquille Williams and Marcus Schofield, both freshman, have been dismissed from the team. A UC SID spokesperson said both were dismissed due to the school's "zero tolerance policy dealing with any issues regarding student conduct."
Williams and Schofield were charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance. Both men were booked at the South Central Regional jail Thursday night.
