JOHNSON COUNTY, Ky. (WSAZ) -- A woman from Van Lear has been arrested on a variety of meth related charges.

Johnson County Sheriff Deputies arrested Cynthia Greathouse (Vickery), 46, at her home in the 700 block of KY 302 Monday night.

Sheriff Dwayne Price says deputies went to the home after getting an anonymous tip about a possible meth lab and meth trafficking.

Price says inside the house, deputies found several baggies containing a white powdery substance believed to be meth.

In another room, two hollowed out light bulbs were found along with baggies and a white powdery substance.

Deputies also discovered several needles in the house, including some on the floor.

Price says inside the garage there was a black box containing precursors needed to make meth, along with an active “shake and bake” lab.

Two children who were living in the home were taken into protective custody by the Cabinet of Social Services.

Greathouse is charged with possession of meth, manufacturing meth, two counts of controlled substance endangerment to children, unlawful possession of meth precursors and drug paraphernalia buy/posses.

She is being held in the Big Sandy Detention Center.
