WV Power Single Game Tickets Go on Sale Saturday

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Spring is in the air and starting this week, baseball fans can start buying single game tickets for the West Virginia Power.

The West Virginia Power, a Class-A affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates, will begin selling individual game tickets on Saturday, March 15, at 10 a.m.

The 2014 season will mark the power's tenth year at Appalachian Power Park. The season will highlight 17 fireworks nights, creative promotions and new giveaways, according to a news release.

Advance ticket prices are $5.00 for general admission and $7.00 for box seats.

“Advance ticket prices for Power baseball games have remained a constant value since Appalachian Power Park opened in 2005,” stated Executive Vice President Ken Fogel. “With the discount on advance ticket purchases, pricing for a South Atlantic League game in Charleston has remained at $5.00 and $7.00 since 2000 dating back to the final years at Watt Powell Park. We are thrilled to be able to provide affordable family entertainment.”

On Saturday, fans can purchase single game tickets at the Power Box Office on Morris Street. You can also call 304-344-BATS (2287) for tickets.

Opening Day is set for April 10.
