FLATWOODS, Ky. (WSAZ) -- Water customers in Flatwoods, Ky. are being asked to begin conversing water immediately.

According to the Mayor’s Office, the city’s water tanks went dry overnight.

Customers began losing water service Tuesday morning. Those with water likely have low pressure.

Right now, they expect the loss of service to last a couple of days.

Boil water advisory is in effect for anyone who has running water.

The Mayor’s Office also tells WSAZ.com they would normally handle the situation by buying water from Ashland, but due to the ongoing issues there they can’t get help.
