CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A big star is headed to the Kanawha Valley this weekend.

Wayne Newton, Mr. Las Vegas himself, will ride in the Armed Forces Day Parade. The parade will step off at 12 p.m. on D Street in South Charleston.

Newton performed at the Clay Center in Charleston three years ago and parade organizers invited him to come back as a special guest for the parade.

Newton won't be singing, but he plans to stick around to meet his fans.
