Woman Flown to Hospital Following Roane County Crash

ROANE COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A young woman is being taken to the hospital after a serious crash in Roane County, according to 911 dispatchers.
The accident happened just before midnight on U.S. Route 119 near the McKowns Creek Road intersection.
Dispatchers say the vehicle went about 15 to 20 feet over an embankment.
The woman driving the car is being flown to CAMC hospital. Dispatchers say nobody else was in the car with her and no other vehicles were involved.
West Virginia State Police is investigating the cause of the accident.
