Woman Killed in Rollover Crash in Vinton County, Ohio

VINTON COUNTY, Ohio (WSAZ) -- A woman was killed Monday in a one-car rollover crash in Vinton County, Ohio.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol says it happened on Buckeye Branch Road in Wilksville Township.

Troopers say Wendy N. Wolford, 25, of Vinton, was ejected during the crash and died at the scene. Investigators say the car went off the road and rolled onto its top.

Two passengers in the car had minor injuries but refused treatment.

Troopers say there was another person was in the car but left the scene. It’s unknown who was driving the car at the time of the crash.

The accident was reported about 2:30 p.m. Monday.
