Woman Wanted in Armed Robbery at Gas Station

BOYD COUNTY, Ky. (WSAZ) – Boyd County Sheriff’s deputies are still searching for the woman who they say held up a gas station along Donta Road in Ironville, Ky. Friday night.

Deputies say it happened at the BP station about 8:45 p.m. Friday.

They describe the woman as being 5 feet 2 inches to 5 feet 4 inches tall with a slim build and sandy blonde short hair. They say she was wearing a hooded sweatshirt with a dark blue mask.

Deputies say she pointed a black handgun and demanded money, then left in a maroon or dark red van with light trim on the bottom.

No one was hurt.

BOYD COUNTY, Ky. (WSAZ) -- A woman armed with a handgun held up a gas station along Donta Road in Ironville on Friday night, Boyd County Sheriff's deputies say.

They say it happened at the BP station there about 8:45 p.m. Friday.

The woman demanded cash and left.

No one was hurt.
