We were very moved by the accounts of the crash and the behind the scenes efforts to maintain the program. Graduates of Marshall, we both had strong connections with team members, coaches and community leaders. My wife taught children who lost a parent and I had served as the Dorm Director of Hodges Hall, as well as Student Body V-P where I got to know players and coaches well.
That Marshall's athletic program is so successful is truly a miracle outgrowth of one of our nations greatest tragedies. God Bless Marshall, and all her sons and daughters!
