ASHLAND, Ky. (WSAZ) -- The fire at Mansbach Metal Co. was contained to a crane inside a storage building, Ashland firefighters at the scene tell WSAZ.com.
There was no actual damage to the building itself, and no one was hurt.
The fire was reported just after 7:30 p.m. Wednesday. CSX train traffic was halted in the area as firefighters dealt with the fire. Mansbach Metal Co. is located in the 1900 block of Front Street near the Ashland riverfront.
Firefighters say the fire was difficult to put out because of hydraulic and diesel fuel leaking from the crane.
CSX was notified to stop train traffic in that area, which is near the Ashland riverfront.
The fire was reported just after 7:30 p.m. Dispatchers said they are not certain if it involves equipment inside the business or the building itself.
