  • C-USA Announces 2008 Football Television Schedule
    Conference USA has announced its television schedule for the 2008 football season. The current confirmed schedule features nearly 50 games to air nationally or regionally. National games will be-televised on CBS College Sports Network, ESPN, ESPN 2, the NFL Network and the Big Ten Network
  • Marshall University's Ticket Allotment for the Football Game at West Virginia University is Sold Out
    The Marshall University Athletic Ticket Office announced Thursday that all tickets for the general public from Marshall's allotment for the September 27th football game at West Virginia University have been sold.
  • CBS College Sports To Cover 2008 C-USA Football Media Day
    CBS College Sports Network kicks off the 2008 Conference USA football season with C-USA Football Media Blitz Presented by AutoZone and the AutoZone Liberty Bowl, a special two-and-a-half hour, exclusive live broadcast from C-USA Football Media Day in Memphis. The show airs Sunday, July 20 (4:00 PM, ET), and features hosts Carter Blackburn and Trev Alberts.
  • C-USA Announces Preseason Football Awards and Poll
    Three Marshall football players were named to the Conference USA Coaches Preseason Team as announced by the league office Wednesday afternoon. Juniors Albert McClellan, defensive end, and Cody Slate, tight end, joined senior free safety C.J. Spillman on the preseason all-conference squad as voted on by the league's 12 coaches.
  • Marshall Fans Assisting Goddard Family
    The independent on-line forums supporting Marshall University, the Huntington community, and friends of the Johnathan Goddard Family have established a trust fund to help the Goddard's offset funeral expenses. Unfortunately Johnathan had no type of insurance and Marshall fans are stepping up to help.
  • CSS to Broadcast Three 2008 Marshall Football Television Games
    Three additional 2008 Marshall University football games have been slated for a live television broadcast as Comcast/Charter Sports Southeast (CSS) will air three of the Thundering Herd's eight Conference USA contests on the regional network.
