HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) - In a move that will free up two scholarships, and also give two Marshall reserves a chance to seek more playing time elsewhere, Robbie Jackson and Jesse Oglesby are transferring from Marshall.

Coach Donnie Jones announced the move Wednesday.

Oglesby, a red-shirt junior in 2007-08, and Jackson, a sophomore, combined for six starts last season for the Thundering Herd and are likely to transfer to schools closer to their hometowns.

“I’d like to thank Robbie and Jesse for their hard work and dedication to our basketball program this past year and I wish them nothing but good luck and success in their bright futures,” Jones said.
