CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) - The Marshall football team makes its annual spring football visit to the Kanawha Valley Saturday.

The team's noon practice at the University of Charleston Stadium will be open to the public. Marshall players will sign autographs afterward.

Marshall will hold its annual spring football game on April 26th in Huntington.


CHARLESTON, W.Va. (MU SID) - The Marshall University football team will conduct a spring practice that is open to the public at University of Charleston Stadium in Charleston, Saturday. Gates open at 11 a.m. for the annual off-campus practice that is scheduled to get underway at Noon.

Fans will have the opportunity to not only watch the Thundering Herd football team practice from noon until 2 p.m., but also get autographs from Marshall players immediately following practice.

Fans are reminded that no photography or recording devices may be used during practice.

Food and drinks will be available at the stadium thanks to Smokin' Thunder Barbeque.

The annual event is sponsored by the Marshall Quarterback Club of Charleston, Chesapeake Energy, Smith Motors, Elco Mechanical and West Virginia Radio.
