WHEELING, W.Va. (AP) - Bob Friend and David Bradshaw are tied
for the lead heading into the final round of the West Virginia Open
at Wheeling's Oglebay Resort.
Friend, the director of golf at Morgantown's Pikewood National
Golf Club, shot a 2-under-par 69 Thursday while touring pro and
three-time champion Bradshaw shot 71. Both played on the Palmer
Course.
They're at even-par 142 after two rounds with 10 others within
four shots of the lead.
Charleston's Bosten Miller, Bridgeport's Justin Caroli and
Concord golf coach Darcy Donaldson are one shot back.
First-round leader Chris McGinnis, who works with Friend at
Pikewood, had six bogeys and two double-bogeys on the back nine for
an 11-over 82. He's seven shots behind.
