WSAZ Children’s Charities was created in 1997 to benefit at risk children. The charity, offers assistance to many social and charitable organizations throughout our 33 county viewing areas. Recipients range from academic and arts programs, to shelters for troubled teens and medical aid for children. WSAZ believes providing monetary assistance where it is needed most makes a positive and meaningful impact on local organizations who work with children in our communities.

On Saturday, December 4th WSAZ will “Bag Some Bucks” for Children’s Charities from 10:00am – Noon at the Santa Patio in the Huntington Mall, Belk's at the Ashland Town Center, Ashley Home Furnishing stores at the Huntington Mall exit of I-64 and Corridor G in Charleston and from 1:00pm – 3:00pm at Center Court of Charleston Town Center.
