NEW INFO: Weather Delays W.Va. State Baseball Tourney, New Schedule Released

UPDATE 6/1/12 @ 12 p.m. CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Inclement weather is causing some delays for the West Virginia State Baseball Tournament in Charleston.
According to Regina Kerby with the WVSSAC, both of the AA games scheduled for Friday morning have been postponed.
Pending the weather, a tentative new schedule will be as follows:
Class A games will start at 5 p.m. Friday
AA final with Nitro vs. Princeton will start at 10 a.m. Saturday
Both AA games will follow AA final on Saturday
Call A final will follow both AA games Saturday (about 7 p.m.)
AA final will start a 1 p.m. Sunday
ORIGINAL STORY CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Rain showers are delaying the West Virginia State Baseball Tournament in Charleston.
According to a news release, the West Virginia Secondary Schools Activities Commission has delayed the beginning of Friday's first session of the tournament.
Games were scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. at Appalachian Power Park.
The WVSSAC expects all games scheduled to be played Friday and will determine a start time in the near future, according to the release.
